Commercial banks serve as the backbone of an economy by increasing the availability of funds for investor, hence fostering economic growth. Being the driving force for the effective sustenance of financial markets, commercial banks distinctively spark off the economic success of any country. Withal, in their course of lending, commercials banks might be badly struck with the rise of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs), which tend catapult commercial banks' failure if left unsolved. In view to this reality, this research attempt to investigate the impact of microeconomics variables on commercial banks' failure in Malaysia.
