The purpose of this research is to develop “Testing strategy for IoT based smart home application”. Testing IoT based application are one of the key challenges in IoT. Therefore, the objective of this research is to identify the challenges encountered in testing IoT based application and analyze the existing testing strategies and their limitations. The research emphasizes on application area of smart home. Consequently, the developed testing strategy will also be focused on addressing the challenges specifically for IoT based smart home application.
