The growing concern on fraud in the economy has caused tremendous changes to the economy and society and with the rapid growth of technology, especially in the field of artificial intelligence, has provide an avenue to fight the uprising of fraud. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of combating fraud with the use of artificial intelligence within public listed companies in Malaysia. Four different variables that affect the combating fraud are identified to be tested in this study which include machine learning, blockchain technology, fuzzy logic, and robotic process automation.
