"MATHFUN" : A MOBILE APP FOR DYSCALCULIA CHILDREN / LIM HEAN SOON. - Kuala Lumpur : Asia Pacific University, 2020. - 208 pages : illustrations ; 30 cm.

A project submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of BSc. (Hons) in Software Engineering (UC3F1906SE).

The purpose of this project is to develop a mobile application that is suitable for the dyscalculia children as a supporting learning method to learn mathematics efficiently. In order to ensure the system is developed successfully, a suitable methodology must be selected for the proposed system as well as the Literature Review has been conducted for ensuring that the proposed system is necessary for the target users rather than the existing learning methods. Besides, technical research has been conducted in order to select the most suitable programming language, DBMS as well as the IDE for the proposed system. Apart from that, research method has been conducted with the intention of data requirements gathering and elicitation in order to gather the requirements from the users. Therefore, interview with the teachers and observation of the SCSOA learning disabilities centre has been conducted for gathering requirements. After all requirements has been gathered, system architecture design has been conducted by the developer to provide the Object Oriented Analysis and Design methodology which consists of Class Diagram, ERD, Use Case Diagram and so on before developing the system. Furthermore, project plan is also conducted in order to ensure that the proposed system is developed in a consistent manner. After all research and design of diagram has been conducted, implementation of the system will be undertaken which the developed system must achieve usability of the interface design as well as flexibility of the system. As the system made for the dyscalculia children and the teachers, usability is relatively imperative for the proposed system. After the proposed system is developed, the system validation process is conducted with SCSOA learning disabilities centre for the User Acceptance Testing and Unit Testing. After the proposed system is being tested, modification of the proposed system is being executed based on the feedback from the testers.
