SEAMLESS WEBSITE AUTHENTICATION WITH MOBILE BIOMETRICS (SWAMB) / FHAN JACSON. - Kuala Lumpur : Asia Pacific University, 2020. - 206 pages : illustrations ; 30 cm.

A project submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirement for the degree of BSc. (Hons) in Information Technology with a specialism in Mobile Technology (UC3F1911IT(MBT).

This project aim is to provide mobile biometrics to do secure, effortless, and seamless authentication on website. The project achieves this by designing and implementing a Seamless Website Authentication with Mobile Biometrics (SWAMB) authentication workflow that replaces password-based authentication to provide better security and fast authentication. Research is conducted on the topic of multi factor authentication, password-less authentication, biometrics authentication on mobile and more to gather better insight of how does other solution works. After research, requirements gathering, and validation is conducted by survey to gain initial user feedback regarding the project. The initial feedback shows that people are still skeptical regarding the SWAMB project.

Probably because they have not seen or understand enough how it works in the background. Designing the SWAMB workflow and implementing it into a working system was carried out with user feedback. At the end, the proof of concept of SWAMB has been developed, achieve the specified requirements (effortless & seamless), passed all planned test(Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Performance Testing, User Acceptance Testing),generates positive feedback and accepted by users. The current version of SWAMB is still not perfect and needs a lot of improvements, but the project has a chance to be the go-to authentication standard or framework if it had been developed further.
