Summary, etc The study examines the identification of factors affecting financial consideration of Malaysian venture capitalist. According to the high growth of the global startups and venture capital ecosystem in the past few years but on the other hand, Malaysia still face the problem about the relationship between Malaysian founder and entrepreneur mindset is lower than in global average but local founder with builder mindset is higher than global average. This research is inspired by the Decision Process Model of Venture Capitalist Investment especially, focus on Screening process and adopted the entrepreneur's characteristic (EC), the entrepreneur's experience (EE), the characteristics of product/services and business model (CPSB), characteristics of market (CM) as independent variables; while, intention to adopted Financial consideration (FC) as dependent variable. This research has adapted conducted by using questionnaire survey to conduct quantitative method together with multiple regression analysis. In addition, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) is incorporated in the measurement with KMO, Cronbach's alpha is used to identify the reliability of variables and find all the model through the convergent and discriminant validity test. Moreover, the overall model fit has shown promising goodness-of-fit as well. The finding of this research has revealed that among 158 respondents chose the EC as the first prime factor that influence the financial consideration following by the CPSB, EE and CM. The reason why mong the respondents see the entrepreneur's experience an the characteristics of the markets as the least factors because in Malaysian venture capital ecosystem is not competitive compared to others investment. The venture capitalists are more focusing on entrepreneur's potential to establish and make sure they can implement the business plan with unique products/services.
