The primary purpose of the study was to investigate the impact of task performance, work engagement and perceived organizational support towards organizational citizenship behaviour. For this purpose, the quantitative approach was used. Respondents for this study were faculty members of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia(UKM). Data were collected through a self-administrated questionnaire. Convenient sampling technique was used, and sample size of 120 was considered for the study. IBM Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 24 was used to analyze the cross-sectional data. Descriptive statistics like frequency tables of demographics were used to describe the data. Similarly, inferential statistics like Pearson correlation and multiple regression was utilized. Results showed work engagement, task performance and lastly, perceived organizational support was associated with organizational citizenship behaviour.<br/>Findings of the multiple regression also showed a positive and significant relationship between work engagement and organizational citizenship behaviour. Similarly, task performance positively and significantly affects organizational citizenship behaviour, and lastly, there exists a positive and significant relationship between perceived organizational support and organizational citizenship behaviour. Implications of this study suggest that task performance, work engagement and perceived organizational support needs to be considered in academia in order to enhance organizational citizenship behaviour. |
