Summary, etc This study examined the individual perception on the implementation of environmental tax in Malaysia. This study also highlighted the concern on environmental problems that is becoming serious around worldwide. Information for the study was gathered through self-administered questionnaire and administered through non-probability convenience sampling method. A total of 120 completed and usable questionnaires have been gathered up amongst individual in Malaysia. The findings revealed that different variables yielded different influences for the adoption of environmental tax. This study is important to assist government to adapt better with current working condition, which can improve not only environmental interest, but also resulted in higher output. The findings show that environmental interest and social psychological behaviour have significant relationship towards the adoption of environmental tax.
