Summary: Globalization in business has made international Entrepreneurship an important driver of economic growth, productivity and social development. Thus, the need for entrepreneurs in the country is in the rise. Generation Z comprises about 26% of the country’s population and are an important source in the contribution to economic development. Hence, this research aims to study on the factors influencing international entrepreneurial intention among Generation Z in Malaysia. In this study, a model based on Ajzen’s theory of planned behaviour was used empirically tested on a sample of 120 Generation Z respondents focussed in the Klang Valley area. In the model, entrepreneurial intention is taken as a function of Perceived Educational Support, Perceived Structural Support and Perceived Social Norms and Perceived Behavioural Control. Hypotheses are tested by means of multiple regression analysis. The result of the survey showed that Perceived Behavioural Control influences international entrepreneurial intention among Generation Z. The findings of this study have important implications for those who formulate, deliver and evaluate policies in Malaysia. Based on the findings policy makers may make changes to foster interest in international entrepreneurship among Malaysians.
