The application is also aimed at addressing the negative financial impact of online shopping on millennials. The application will be leveraging on the benefits of layaway methods, which consumers places a deposit on an item to "lay it away", allowing the customer to make payments in instalments until the purchase is fully paid and collected later. Finally, the mobile application will also approach the lack of proper method to handle abandoned carts; which standing from the merchant's perspective is an important issue. "PacePay" will not only be able to solve problems relevant to the consumers' end, but will be able to reduce cart abandonment and recover lost sales by allowing merchants to provide users and alternative way to track the products users are interested in.
