N2  - Versatility of India has always been discussed along with its rich cultural heritage and rapid growth over the past decades. Like any other country, India does have a few setbacks which could hamper future development of the country. One of the main issues India faces is a severe human rights violation and that is gender discrimination. Over the following chapters- gender inequality and international human rights law will be the main themes discussed. The problem, the causes along with factors influencing gender biasness and discrimination will be highlighted.
