The study covers the factors predicting credit risk. There are four variables that can be used to manage or predict credit risk which are client appraisal, credit control tools, credit monitoring and compliance with the regulation. Data are collected through a primary source by distributing questionnaires to the credit staffs in credit departments of 28 commercial banks in Malaysia with a random sampling method. The targeted respondents are 114 and 112 has collected at the end. The relationship between the variables is analyzed by using descriptive analysis, multiple regression and Pearson’s correlations through the Statistical Package of the Social Sciences (SPSS). The findings outlined that the variables have a significant and positive relationship with credit risk among commercial banks in Malaysia. ER -
