520 | _aThe advancement of technology causes the degradation of direct interaction between people. This case mostly happens when people have meals together. In this project, the background studies regarding restaurants or cafes system in providing services were analyzed and interviews were conducted to validate an innovation in food ordering system solution which can be enhanced face-to-face communication and social closeness among people in eateries. Meanwhile, multi-player tabletop/board games are installed in the table-top touchscreen to foster direct communication which leads to the social closeness between people. Furthermore, based on the validations, this technological solution is to proven to be able to improve services in restaurants' operations for better customer experience, as well as, boost the direct communication among people while they are at restaurants or cafes. | ||
