Different types of rewards are there which is like Extrinsic reward, Intrinsic reward and social reward. The banking sector in India is facing many issues related to the employee performance and the relationship between the employee employer is not good in condition. Yearly the banking sector of India is going to loss. The main objective of this research is to find out, is there any influences in rewards on employee performance in banking sector, Kerala India. For that, the IDBI (Industrial development bank of India) is selected. The quantitative and deductive approach is used in this research. The analysis is conduced by collecting primary data and in addition descriptive analysis and inferential analysis have been applied. There are three independent variable and one dependent variable. Which is extrinsic reward, intrinsic reward and social reward as independent variable and employee performance as dependent variable. The primary data is collected from the 100 respondents in the Kozhikode area if IDBI banking sector in Kerala, India. And it finds out that the three rewards are negatively affecting to the employee performance in the IDBI banking sector. Which means, the reward system needs to improve or change for the good performance of the employees. The reason for the yearly loss of banking sector in India is due to the bad reward system practise and polices. From the employee respondent most employees are not satisfied with financial rewards and non- financial reward which the bank giving now. Finally, this research concluded that, it should be seriously considering the reward system in the baking sector in India which directly influence the employee performance to increase the profit of banking sector.
