Summary: Over the last few years, technology companies have been regarded as the next big thing. Previous researches that had focused on technology companies had primarily focused on the impact of operational performance of the company. On the contrary, researchers in the field of HRM were able to prove that HRM could certainly add value for companies. However, until now very few companies have been able to understand the role HRM plays in technology companies. Interviews were conducted of executives at technology companies. Through the interviews conducted, it was revealed that HRM can certainly have an essential role to play for the success of a company. This research comes up with findings that could certainly be highly productive for future research on this important subject and could also be interlinked by entrepreneurs for their strategic and tactical plans.
